An African Easter Celebration in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Classis Grand Rapids North
The African Community Fellowship Church celebrated Easter in their church building on the corner of Eastern Avenue and Hall Street. Believers from Kenya, Nigeria, Congo, Tanzania, and South Africa worshiped our risen Savior with vibrant Swahili songs. Individual testimonies and congregational praise songs proclaimed that Jesus Christ, unlike their African ancestral gods, did not abandon them, but left the grave and is alive today.
Mission Statement:
The African Community Fellowship Church exists to bring Africans together
to worship and praise God, to grow in the knowledge of His word, and to
share the good news of Jesus Christ around the world.
