Nathan Bierma assists in communicating about the work of CICW to worshipers and worship leaders— including students, scholars, and other guests and visitors to CICW and its website—in a variety of ways. Nathan writes and edits materials for CICW's website, web highlighter, and weblog, and writes and edits articles and books relating to worship. He assists in the development of audio resources, and specializes in resource development in the areas of journalism and theological linguistics.

Nathan teaches writing as an adjunct professor of English at Calvin College. His weekly "On Language" column appears in the Chicago Tribune. He is also a contributing editor to Books&Culture magazine, and editor of Minds in the Making, an e-collection from Calvin College.

Nathan's first book, Bringing Heaven Down to Earth, has just been released by P&R Publishing.
