Kristen Verhulst is assistant director of administration at the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship. She manages overall program operations of the Worship Institute. Kristen supervises the web site and central office, administers each of the major grant-funded research and resource initiatives of the Worship Institute, and serves as a resource person for the annual Calvin Symposium on Worship.

Kristen enjoys participating in worship particularly in the area of reading of scripture. Kristen graduated from Calvin College with degrees in communication and education. She has a graduate degree in rhetoric and communication from the University of California, Davis.
