Elizabeth (Betsy) Steele Halstead is Continuing Education Events Manager for the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship and Calvin Theological Seminary. She manages the planning and implementation of the continuing education events which take place on campus and in other locations. She also coordinates the visual arts work of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship.
Betsy’s areas of interest include encouraging life-long learning
for leaders and laity of the church, and interdisciplinary studies, with
particular focus on the integration of theology and the arts. She is an
active lay leader of the church, participating as a liturgist and educational
leader. She graduated from Calvin College with degrees in art and psychology
and from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts degree in theology.
