It is mind-boggling to think about how many people across time, space, race, and denomination gather to worship God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the midst of this great cloud of witnesses is found the Christian Reformed Church which, like so many denominations, struggles with what worship ought to look like. Though the context changes, each generation of worshipers grapples with the same basic questions regarding the order of worship and its content, especially music. Since there is much to be learned from history we offer some key liturgical documents for study. As well, we have included links to the official liturgical forms of the Christian Reformed Church from 1932 to the present. |
