WOWAW 17: “We worship in dialogue with God and with each other”
This’ week’s Words of Wisdom about Worship:
Guided by the work of the Holy Spirit, we worship in dialogue with God and with each other. ... Participating in liturgy is a humble, obedient response to God. Instead of breaking with wisdom and trying to discover our identity from within, we turn to God. The work of worship—liturgy—is responsive and reciprocal. Responding to God in gratitude sets up an ongoing relationship between the community of believers and the God of their salvation.
