This afternoon we met in the city hall for a reception with the deputy mayor of Utrecht before returning to the conference center.
Tonight we worshipped with the delegates at Pnielkerk just down the road from the conference center. Most of the service was in English, and Paul commented after the service that “this was the second language of every person in the room except for about twenty of us.” We broke bread together and heard the Word from Rev. Jan-Gerd Heetderks, who is the moderator of the general synod of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands.
