Church Has Sprung
The current issue of Christianity Today has a full-page ad for Sprung Instant Structures (www.sprung.com), a provider of temporary aluminum domes for businesses, churches, and military bases. The CT ad has a testimonial from Saddleback Church that says, “The Sprung Structures at Saddleback Church continue to be valuable tools towards the growth of the church. We put great value on flexibility in our facilities and Sprung Structures provide the kind of flexibility a growing church needs.”

http://www.inflatablechurch.com :ohh:Posted by Emily Cooper on 08/12 at 06:18 PMDear Writer, God must be temporing me because I just wrote you an “epistle’ and lost it trying to submit it. I am a pastor and the church consultant to Sprung Instant Structures. I will try to be brief. There is a reason why that in less than ten and closer to five that over 100 churches including Saddleback, Christ Church of The Valley, New Life, Glorious Way, the Raddisson Hotel and the Marriott have chosen Sprung. With it’s lofty interior ceiling, unobstructed sight lines, sound and lighting qualities, with proper decor, it is an awesome atmosphere for worship. With proper color selection and good landscaping, which should be the case for any worship facility, Sprung becomes a drawing element and not a hinderance. With an R-29 energy rating and low maintenance, it is the building of choice to preserve dollars for ministry. Sprung has made it possble for many churches to create a beautiful worship space when there were no other options. It is heartbreaking to watch churches throwing up warehouse grade metal buildings that have little fexibility, high energy coat, high maintance cost and dictate future growth. I urge you to vist Glorious Way in Houston or First Church of God in Meadeville, Pa. where I will be conducting a seminar tomorrow, Tuesday at 6:00. I know your intentions are good but please thoroughly look at Sprung before commenting.

Posted by avandia lawyers on 02/09 at 06:59 AMI seem to remember an article in one of the church magazines once (either Church Production Magazine or Church Facilities Magazine(?)) that talked about sound in a Sprung building. As I recall sound is pretty decent but they did need to use some sound board baffles to absorb some of the reflecting waves properly.
marire penisPosted by visitor on 02/17 at 04:11 PMI am interested in purchasing a used sprung structure to conduct auctions in. We would like a minimum of 4000 feet and would look at anything larger up to 50,000 feet. We would like nice wide doors to move merchandise in and out, if we could drive in and out or through it, that would be a great bonus.
