Special Post
We just wanted to let everybody know that we will be heading to the rural village of Kgautswane tomorrow. We will most likely not have an internet connection there, and we may not have one at Kruger Park either. Therefore, we may not be posting until January 22, so please do not be alarmed! We all miss you and love you all and we are all in good health.
Talk to you soon!
Ange,
I was just catching up reading all the posts from the past week. It sounds like it has been a very cool, intense experience for you guys. I hope that the next chapter of your travels goes well for you too. I miss seeing your beautiful crooked smile around here.
Love you,
Christina (and Sam)Posted by Christina on 01/21 at 03:35 PMDear Britton and friends, We are thinking of you every day, knowing the experiences you are having are chances of a lifetime. We will be anxious to hear the adventures with the wildlife and see pics. We are praying for you and will look forward to seeing you back in the USA on Wed. Get ready for mass hugs!! Love, Mom and Dad (Sis too)

Posted by Katie Pierri on 01/22 at 04:37 PMI keep checking back to see if everyone is ok. Im sure you are and this is just a ‘tactic’ to recruit more prayer… *grin* ...but the longer you are offline, the more we pray. trust me, we would rather get a note that all is well… its been a tough week at Calvin, ....dear Melissa Emily Decator was killed in a car accident… http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2230258790&ref=mf And we miss you all the more.
(Kate may remember Manda’s roomate, Erin - it was her best friend (from Grandville). She was a very sweet, God-loving, Family-loving girl) A real sweetheart. Very sad.Sincerely,
/chris & alan leesePosted by Chris Leese on 01/23 at 12:59 AMMr. and Mrs. Leese,
I was reading some of the comments, and when I got to yours I could feel that you were worried. I just wanted to let you and everyone else know that I talked to Ben(my boyfriend) yesterday and they are all doing fine. They tried to post something when they got back to Johanessburg, but the internet connection wasn’t working. Hopefully they will be able to put something on the blog before they fly out today. Also, I’m sorry about Melissa. I looked at the facebook page and she seemed like a very sweet girl. I will be praying for her family.
Ashley DavisPosted by Ashley Davis on 01/23 at 10:46 AMHi Ashley,
THANKS for your message. It is comforting to know that all on the trip are well.
I too was very sad to read the message from Mr. and Mrs. Leese. Although I did not know Emily Decator I will for sure keep her family and friends in my daily thoughts and prayers. Their pain is great I am sure : - (
Take good care,
Tim Bolt
