Pre-Departure Preparations

At this point, we’re probably all busily packing for the upcoming month. I thought I’d post a photo of the type of plane we’ll be flying on.

I also received word that we’ll be unable to access the internet at Cape Town Baptist Seminary until 8 January 2007. We’ll try our hardest to find a place to upload weblog entries, but don’t be surprised if we can’t post anything for a few days.

    Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you
    and the crew for 2007.

    I hope you had an amazing christmas and i guess
    you broke the new year in Cape Town, South Africa.

    How do you find the Baptist Seminary? How many
    people are in the group for 2007?

    How is Cape Town now compared to the last time
    you visited?

    What is your programme like for this year?

    There is this ultra-morden Oprah Winfrey academy
    in Johannesbury which was just opened recently.

    It is particularly built for children from
    previously disadvantaged communities and it is
    a place of real hope for under-previlleged girls.

    Should you come across it by any means, i would
    be pleased to have some photos of it.

    Do have a wonderful time in South Africa and
    i pray your experience this time round to
    be different and insightful.

    Please do give my regards to Mark, GrandMa and
    all the members of the group.

      We are following your adventures with great interest. Happy New Year and enjoy the trip. We arrived back from Vietnam the day you left for South Africa. We had a wonderful time with Sue—meeting her students and exploring a new country.  ~ Mary
