First Comment from a Stranger!

some of my friends from hong kong have commented on this blog, which is great and all.  but i haven’t had any strangers comment on my blog until a few days ago!  this is definitely worth celebrating, and i think her comment has some very important information.

I have been reading your weblog lately, and it caught my attention that the amount of comments on your entries is not spectacular. This despite of the fact that you write really well, especially in the third person smile.
So I just wanted to let you know that somewhere in Holland there is a girl, who would love to attend Calvin College next year but has some trouble making it work out financially, really enjoys your weblog. Kind of makes me experience something of what Calvin is and the people there are like. Sooo, I guess the concept works!

That is about it! I wish you a very happy Easter, o and I really like your pictures (by the way).

i added the bolded bit, and i think it reveals three very important points:
1.  i don’t have a lot of comments
2.  and that makes it not very spectacular
3.  therefore, more comments are needed

i’m not hinting at anything.  really.  i just thought it was a very interesting comment.
