Prisons and deserts have nurtured fine writers (Desert Fathers, John Bunyan, M.L. King, and A. Solzhenitsyn)... but SICKness? I don’t know.
Well, come to think of it, Saint Therese (“the Little Flower”), Amy Carmichael, Susannah Wesley, and Catherine Marshall all found grist for the mill in their illnesses.
Nevertheless, I trust yours will come to its end soon.
