FAQQ: What is a weblog? A weblog is a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a weblog is "blogging." Weblogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the weblog. Q: What software is Calvin using to build these weblogs? Calvin is providing weblogs through Expression Engine software. Q: What is RSS? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing headlines and other Web content (http://www.webreference.com/authoring/languages/xml/rss/intro/). Q: Can I add an RSS feed to a web page in Knightvision? The site listed below has a helpful tool that allows you to add RSS feeds from blogs into your existing HTML pages. After you fill in the form fields, you will be presented with a few lines of JavaScript that you can copy/paste into your pages. Just be sure that the URL you provide is for the RSS Feed, NOT the address of your weblog. (If you’re not sure what this means, please contact us.) http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=build Q: How do I get my own weblog?
