By Greg CadyRehoboth is a small community in the middle of a wide open New Mexico landscape. It has been around now for 106 years! The first missionaries that came to Gallup, did so when the train went no further west than Gallup New Mexico. They came with a goal of setting up a mission to the Native Americans in the South West. The name “Rehoboth” is taken from the book of Genesis. The CRC missionaries chose this particular name for the mission because they saw the land as given to them by God so that they might flourish. And this land continues to be a place of flourishing for those who find it and get a chance to experience the wonder that is Rehoboth. UPDATES AS OF NOV. 29TH!! This multicultural study program in New Mexico is held on the campus of Rehoboth Chrsitian School. The goal of the Multicultural Study in New Mexico semester is to provide students with a cross-cultural learning experience by means of special-focus sections of courses from Calvin's liberal arts core and from Calvin's Teacher Education program.
