This presentation of the author’s honors project was given in a Nursing Department Seminar at Calvin College in April 2009.
This presentation explored the ways in which postpartum depression influences a mother’s identity by examining how this illness affects each of these five aspects of personhood. The presentation also analyzed the role nurses play in caring for these clients.
