Apple Updates (09/23/2008)

By Rick DeVriesUpdates to several Apple products will be deployed to campus Mac computers beginning on Tuesday, September 23. These updates address several security and stability issues and will include the following products and services:
Mac OS 10.5.5
iTunes 8
Quicktime 7.5.5
Remote Desktop 3.2.2
Mac users will be prompted to install the updates and they will be allowed 3 days to accept and run the updates. If they are not installed within 3 days the updates will be installed automatically.
At the completion of the installation the user will be prompted to reboot the computer within 5 minutes. If a reboot does not happen within 5 minutes the computer will be rebooted automatically.
