The following systems and services are scheduled for maintenance this Thursday morning:

- Internet connectivity to and from on-campus
- Campus Store Backoffice server
- Campus Store Application server
- Novell fileservers: acadia, bighorn, denali, glacier, and rushmore.** 

** These servers provide home directories (H:), departmental filesharing (R:), common-drive space (U:), student shared space (S:), programs (P:), and web-publishing space (W:)

July 7 - Security Patches

The following security patches and updates will be released by CIT on Wednesday, July 7.

Target Audiences
Faculty and staff workstations
Smart Classrooms

Windows Systems
Windows updates will be installed silently and automatically. If a reboot is required after installation you will receive a message in a pop-up window. You will be allowed to postpone the reboot for up to 24 hours after the updates are installed. If the machine is not rebooted within the 24 hours the system will reboot automatically. If you want to verify if these updates were installed you can go to your Add/Remove Programs control panel and check for the patches listed below.

Windows updates to be included:
ZCM 10.3 agent update


Macintosh Systems
Users on Macintosh systems will be prompted to install patches. You will have 14 days to begin installation. If a reboot is required you will have 5 minutes after installation completes to reboot your system or it will reboot automatically. Patches listed with a triangle next to them indicate that a system reboot is required. 

Macintosh patches to be included:
Office 2004 for Mac 11.5.9 update
Office 2008 for Mac 12.2.5 update

The following systems and services are scheduled for maintenance this Thursday morning (5-7AM):

- Zenworks Configuration Management Database server
- Zenworks Configuration Management Application servers **
- Digital Asset Management system (Canto Cumulus)

** During the outage of this system logins in the labs will fail and access to Zenworks delivered applications will not work.

July 21 - Security Patches

- Prince Conference Center web server
- Datatel Web UI server
