ZCM 10.1.1 Upgrade - Nov. 3-6
Monday, November 03, 2008
By Rick DeVriesCIT will be pushing an upgrade of ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) to version 10.1.1 beginning Nov. 3 and running through Nov. 6. This update is part of CIT’s on-going work to resolve a number of issues we have encountered with ZCM since the end of August.
This update will be pushed to Windows workstations in 4 stages to avoid problems with too many workstations getting updated at one time. A limited number of workstations will receive the update on each day starting Monday, Nov. 3 and running through Thursday, Nov. 6. Macintosh computers are not included in this update.
The update will begin automatically and the user will see a small information balloon in the lower right corner of the screen indicating installation progress. The user will be notified when the installation is complete and will be told that a reboot is necessary. The installer does not initiate a reboot automatically. The user is asked to reboot his/her computer as soon as it is convenient to do so and CIT asks that this be done within 24 hours of the installation.
Please contact the CIT HelpDesk at or x6-8555 if you have questions or concerns.
