After reviewing all comments, the final recommendations from DSAT will be sent to the CIT Leadership Team and the Information Services Committee for final approval.

CIT test scanning update

The CIT test scanning services are located in the Digital Studio, Hekman Library room 121. The Digital Studio is open 8:00am - 4:45 pm, Monday - Friday for test scanning. The Digital Studio closes at 5:00pm so if you are grading your own tests please plan accordingly.

Test grading options:

  • "Do-it-yourself" Grading
We encourage you, your department's administrative assistant or a student worker from your department to come to the Digital Studio to grade your tests and run your reports. The test scanning software is easy to use. We will show you how to use it and are available to answer any questions you might have. With the "do-it-yourself" option, turn-around time is immediate. Test grading machine is available on a 'walk in' basis.
  • CIT test grading
If necessary, you can drop your test off at the Digital Studio and our staff will grade your test and run your reports for you. Guaranteed turn around time is 48 hours (weekdays) - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:45pm. But, as always we will try to have them back to you within 24 hours.

If you are dropping the test off for the Digital Studio staff to grade, please put the test(s) in a folder in order to protect student confidentiality.

PLEASE NOTE: Tests without the following information will be returned to you for completion:

  • A completed key sheet, which specifies the correct answers for your exam.
  • A completed report selection sheet, which specifies which reports you wish to receive, their format (paper and/or HTML), and the notification method you prefer.
  • Student score sheets that includes each student's Calvin-ID in the Identification # field, left justified

For complete information please see CIT Test Grading Service.
