news from students
Posted by ol at 05:16 AMNEWS FROM OUR STUDENTS IN HONDURAS
The first week of classes went well. I think everyone is realizing how busy we
are all going to be this semester. I can personally say that I have a lot of
work to do, but I am going to learn a ton from doing it. This definitely will
be a semester of progress in my Spanish and understanding of a different
culture. Julianna F
Living with a new family in a new culture is never easy at first, but so far
our families have been such a blessing! (However, I don`t know if I can speak
for everyone..) The cooking is definitely something to get used to along with
some other small house rules, but once you become comfortable it is so much
fun. Most Hondurans place a big emphasis on family, so it`s nice to be a part
of one even when you`re thousands of miles away from your real family. Keri
