Published by the University of Nebraska Press, River Teeth invites submissions of creative nonfiction, including narrative reportage, essays, and memoirs, as well as critical essays that examine the emerging genre and that explore the impact of nonfiction narrative on the lives of its writers, subjects, and readers.

River teeth is a very high-caliber nonfiction publication. It is divided into sections: essays, memoir, literary journalism, and craft and criticism. The “river teeth” concept is also a very interesting one, introduced by David James Duncan in his book by the same name.
