The North Central Review is a semiannual international undergraduate publication, and has been an undergraduate journal since 2005.


The North Central Review is one of just a few undergraduate-only publications. It is staffed by students at North Central College in Naperville, IL. Sample submissions are not available to read.

Submission Instructions:

Submit up to 2 pieces of prose not exceeding 5,000 words each. Indicate word count on any prose submission.
Submit up to 5 poems.
Submission deadlines for fall and spring issues are October 15 and February 15, respectively.
Include proof of undergraduate status (.edu e-mail address or photocopied student IS without number.
Include contact information (name, address, e-mail address, phone).
