Women’s Tennis Defeats Adrian

Calvin reached the .500 mark on the season and improved to 4-1 in league play with an 8-1 win over Adrian Thursday afternoon. Adrian’s lone point came at No. 3 doubles. Calvin took the remaining two doubles points and swept the six singles flights, winning four of the singles flights in straight sets.
Calvin is back in action on Saturday hosting rival Hope at 1 p.m. at the Strikwerda Tennis Courts. In the case of inclement weather, the match will be moved indoors to Calvin’s Huizenga Tennis and Track Center.
