ALMA - Calvin picked up an important 25-13, 25-23, 25-18 victory at Alma Tuesday night to remain unbeaten in league play at the midpoint of the MIAA double round-robin schedule. Ranked ninth nationally, Calvin improves to 13-2 overall and 8-0 in league play with the win.

In set three, Calvin broke led 11-10 and then broke away late, building a 20-15 advantage and never looking back from there.
Calvin sophomore Lizzie Kamp (Orland Park, IL/Chicago Christian HS) had a stellar all-around match with 14 digs, 13 kills, two block assists, one block solo and an attack percentage of .500. Chipping in with six kills apiece were senior Kim Wigboldy (Chandler, AZ/Valley Christian HS) and juniors Renee DeHaan (Grand Rapids/Grand Rapids Christian HS) and Erin VanderPlas (Cadillac/McBain Christian HS).
