Taylor Pruis Named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week in Men’s Soccer

ROYAL OAK, Mich. Ė The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Calvin midfielder Taylor Pruis its Offensive Player of the Week in menís soccer for games played through Sept. 22. Pruis, a sophomore from Grand Rapids (GR Christian HS), scored two goals and assisted on two more in leading the Knights to a 5-1 victory over Hope in their MIAA opener. He also had a pair of assists in a 5-0 non-conference win over Bluffton, Ohio. Pruis is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in his career. Calvin is back in action on Wednesday when it travels to Trine for a 4 p.m. contest.
