Shelby Mast Named to All-MIAA Second Team in Softball

For the second straight year, Calvin sophomore Shelby Mast has been named to the All-MIAA second team. A native of Hudsonville and a graduate of Hudsonville High School, Mast put together another strong campaign in the pitcher’s circle this spring.
In league play, Mast led the MIAA in innings pitched (82.1), appearances (14) and games started (11) while also ranking third in strikeouts (62) and eighth in earned run average (2.81).
In a 2-0 win over Olivet on April 21, Mast tossed a one-hitter. During her collegiate career, Mast has tossed four one-hitters and one no-hitter.
