Calvin College junior Rebecca Kamp has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV second team in women’s volleyball in the college division.

The college division includes NCAA II and III schools as well as NAIA institutions. The ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America program is organized and voted on by the College Sports Information Director’s Association (CoSIDA) of America.

Kamp carries a 3.88 grade point average while majoring in special education and minoring in mathematics.

Kamp is in the midst of an outstanding junior campaign. She is currently ranked second nationally in hitting percentage (.453), fourth in blocks-per-set (1.41), sixth in points-per-set (5.49) and 17th in kills-per-set (4.27).

Kamp helped Calvin gain a share of the MIAA regular season title this past Saturday. The Knights are currently ranked seventh nationally and will face Alma College in an MIAA Tournament semifinal match Friday at Hope’s DeVos Fieldhouse.
