A defender, Colago hails from Anoka, Minnesota. He is a graduate of Anoka High School.

Earlier this month, Colago was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America third team.

Colago finished the 2011 season with three goals and six points. He was part of a Calvin defense that recorded 13 shutouts during the 2011 season and was named to the All-MIAA first team for a second straight year.  He was also named to the NSCAA Division III All-Central Region first team and was named a Capital One Division III Academic All-American.

Over the course of his Calvin career, Colago scored 10 goals including a pair in the 2010 NCAA III Tournament.

Colago helped the Calvin men’s soccer team finish 19-6-2 this year and claim the MIAA regular season title with an 11-2-1 conference mark. The league title was Calvin’s fifth straight. The Knights later received a bid to the NCAA III Tournament and advanced all the way to the NCAA III Championship game for the second time in three years.
