Men’s Tennis Claims 9-0 Win at Adrian - Improves to 8-7 on Season Overall

ADRIAN - Calvin broke the .500 mark on the year with a 9-0 win at Adrian Tuesday afternoon. The Knights are now 8-7 overall and 3-1 in the MIAA. The Knights are tied for second place in the MIAA standings with Hope.
Claiming doubles wins were juniors Preston Phillips and Philip Reinken (No. 1), junior Brian DeMaagd and sophomore Loukas Peterson (No. 2 ) and sophomore John Strikwerda and sophomore Stephen Healy (No. 3).
Singles winners included DeMaagd (No. 1), Phillips (No. 2), Reinken (No. 3), Peterson (No. 4), freshman Tom Griffin (No. 5) and Strikwerda (No. 6).
Peterson is now 11-5 in singles play this season while Phillips is 11-7 and Reinken 10-7.
