Lizzie Kamp Named MIAA Player of the Week in Volleyball

Calvin College junior Lizzie Kamp has been named the MIAA Player of the Week in volleyball. Kamp, a junior from Orland Park, Ill. (Chicago Christian HS),had 27 kills for a hitting percentage of .480 for the week as Calvin remained unbeaten with three straight MIAA wins.
She had 14 kills in a sweep of Saint Mary’s, and had three service aces in a sweep of Albion.
Kamp, who is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time this season and third time in her career, also had 11 digs and five blocks for the week.
Calvin is back in action on Wednesday when it travels to Kalamazoo for a 7 p.m. match.
