Calvin Women’s XC Team Holds Top Spot in Rankings - Men Ranked Number-Two

For the second straight week, the Calvin women’s cross country team is the number-one ranked team in Division III women’s cross country. The Knights are the top-ranked team in this week’s poll released earlier this afternoon. Calvin received all eight first place votes in this week’s poll. Calvin took first place at the MIAA jamboree this past Friday with a team score of 20 points.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire is the number-two ranked women’s team in the latest poll.

On the men’s side, Calvin is again ranked number-two but the Knights did pick up one first place vote in this week’s poll. Cortland State of New York picked up the remaining seven first place votes to again retain the top spot.

At the MIAA jamboree last Friday, Calvin took first place with a perfect score of 15 points. The Knights took the top 10 spots at the jamboree.

Both cross country teams are back in action on Friday when they compete at the prestigious Notre Dame Invitational.
