The Calvin women’s volleyball team is the number-one ranked team in Division III. The Knights received the number-one ranking the most recent Division III Top 25 poll released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association this afternoon.

Calvin received 37 first place votes in this week’s poll with Emory second, St. Thomas third and Elmhurst ranked fourth. Hope is ranked fifth. The Flying Dutch also received one first place vote in the poll.

Calvin will then participate in the Wittenberg Fall Invitational Friday and Saturday. While there, Calvin will face sixth-ranked Washington University of St. Louis, eighth-ranked Otterbein, Mount St. Joseph and Heidelberg.

Wednesday’s match at Trine will feature a live audio broadcast and a live stats scoreboard. The broadcast link can be found at: Trine Broadcast
