Calvin Men’s/Women’s Soccer Teams Hold Lofty Spots in Final NSCAA Division III Top 25 Rankings

The final Division III Top 25 rankings compiled by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America have been released and the Calvin men’s and women’s soccer teams are both ranked. In the final women’s poll, Calvin is ranked 15th. The Calvin women’s soccer team was not ranked heading into the NCAA III Tournament. The Calvin women’s soccer team reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA III Tournament this fall, doing so for the second time in four years.
On the men’s side, Calvin is ranked second in the final national poll - Calvin’s highest-ever national ranking. The Calvin men’s soccer team was not ranked heading into the NCAA III Tournament. The Calvin men’s soccer team reached the national championship final this past weekend in San Antonio, Texas, bowing to Messiah (PA) in the title tilt. The national runner-up finish is the best in Calvin soccer history.
