Calvin Cross Country Runner Featured on NCAA Blog Site

Calvin College senior Jed Christiansen is hosting a blog for one of the NCAA’s web sites this fall. A native of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Christiansen is providing weekly insights into the nationally-ranked Calvin men’s cross country team as well as some of his own personal experiences in and out of the classroom.
A senior at Calvin, Christiansen is a three-time NCAA III All-American in cross country. He also claimed All-America accolades in track and field last May, finishing fifth in the 10,000 meter run at the NCAA III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Christiansen will be providing updates on the blog site throughout the first semester.

Christiansen and the Calvin men’s and women’s cross country teams will open their 2008 campaigns on Saturday when they host their own Knight Invitational at the Gainey Athletic Complex.
