A senior forward, Van Eck is averaging 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds a game this year on a Calvin team that is currently 18-3 overall and ranked ninth nationally. Earlier this season, Van Eck was named the Most Valuable Player of the Wilmington Tip-Off Tournament and was later named to the all-tourmament team of the Olivet Thanksgiving Classic.
Two weeks ago, Van Eck became the 10th player in Calvin women’s basketball history to reach the 500 rebound plateau for a career. She is currently ranked ninth on the Calvin career list with 528 rebounds.
A year ago, Van Eck was named to the All-MIAA first team and finished second in the MIAA scoring race.

Van Eck is one of two MIAA players to earn all-district honors as Alma’s Lacey Best-Rowden has been named to the first team.
