Calvin’s baseball doubleheader with Adrian was postponed on Saturday with the score tied 3-3 in the third inning of game one. The suspended game along with game two will be made up on May 4, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Calvin took a 3-0 lead on a three-run homer by freshman Tyler Berger in the bottom of the first inning but Adrian’s Steve Vanderheyden belted a two-run home for the Bulldogs in the second. Adrian later scored a run in the top of the third to tie the game before the rains came. Sophomore Keith Spoelstra was pitching for the Knights when the game was halted. The contest will be picked up in the bottom of the third inning on May 4.

Calvin is back in action on Tuesday when it hosts Aquinas in a non-conference game at Calvin Field at 4:00 p.m.
