Calvin Holds MIAA Commissioner’s Cup Standings Lead Through Winter Sports Season

With the MIAA winter sports season recently completed, the MIAA Commissioner’s Cup standings have been tabulated and Calvin holds an eight-point (137-129) lead over Hope. In the women’s all-sports standings, Calvin holds a six-point (76-70) lead over Hope while Calvin holds a two-point (61-59) lead in the men’s all-sports standings over Hope. With one-third of the 2010-11 MIAA sports season left to be completed, Calvin has captured seven of the 12 MIAA titles that have been decided thus far. Calvin has captured MIAA titles this year in men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s golf, women’s swimming and diving and women’s basketball.
