2009 Calvin Men's Soccer Schedule
With 16 returning letterwinners including five who either received first or second team All-MIAA recognition a year ago, the Calvin men’s soccer team will seek to win its third consecutive league title this fall.
Over the last two years, Calvin has produced a combined won-loss record of 29-10-3 including 24-2-2 in MIAA play. A key to Calvin’s success has been its defensive play, particularly in conference games. During its 2007 MIAA title season, the Knights gave up just nine goals in league games to lead all conference schools. In 2008, the Knights gave up just eight goals in league play, again leading all MIAA schools.

2009 Calvin Women's Golf Schedule
After a ninth place MIAA finish in 2008, the Calvin women’s golf team has nowhere to go but up. The Knights have designs on doing just that this fall as they return three key seniors.
The senior class consists of Kelli Visser, Emily Tuuk and Julienne Louters - all graduates of Grand Rapids Christian High School. In fact, the top four for the Knights could feature an all-Grand Rapids Christian High School flair as incoming freshman Elise Doezema is also a Grand Rapids Christian product.

2009 Calvin Men's Golf Schedule
After a sixth place conference finish in 2007 and a fifth place finish in 2008, the Calvin men’s golf team is seeking to continue to move up the MIAA ladder this fall. Whether that will happen or not remains to be seen but the Knights do return three individuals that cracked the top-25 in the final MIAA individual rankings last fall.
“The building process is working with our program,” said Calvin men’s golf coach Brian Bolt earlier this summer. “We will be deeper and more complete this year, as this is the first year in three that we will have seniors on the team and have made room for a strong freshmen class.”

2009 Calvin Women's Cross Country Schedule
The Calvin women’s cross country team will enter the 2009 season with lofty goals. The Knights are focused on winning MIAA and Great Lakes Regional titles while also contending for their first national title since 1999.
A year ago, Calvin accomplished all three goals, winning MIAA and Great Lakes Regional crowns while finishing second at the NCAA III Championships. The Knights return five individuals who competed at the 2008 NCAA III Championships and also return their alternate runner from that team.

2009 Calvin Men's Cross Country Schedule
Will the 2009 Calvin men’s cross country season be one of reloading or rebuilding? The answer may lie somewhere in between.
Calvin’s run of 10 consecutive top-four national finishes came to end in 2008 as the Knights slipped to fifth place at the NCAA III Cross Country Championships. Eligibility for two All-Americans from last year’s squad has also been exhausted leaving plenty of question marks surrounding a 2009 Calvin men’s cross country team that features only four seniors and just three individuals that were members of its team that competed at the 2008 national meet.
