Calvin College freshman Travis Vegter was recently named to the CollegeSoccer360.com Championship Week Prime Time Performer team. A native of Hudsonville and a graduate of Unity Christian High School, Vegter was saluted by the website for his efforts at the NCAA III Final Four earlier this month where he scored three goals and was named to the NCAA III Final Four All-Tournament team. Vegter finished the year with 16 points on the strength of six goals and four assists. He scored two goals in a 4-2 NCAA III Semifinal win over Oneonta State and scored another in a 2-1 loss to Ohio Wesleyan in the national final.

For the second consecutive year, Calvin College senior has been named a D3soccer.com All-American. Colago has been named to the D3soccer.com All-America third team. He was also a third team selection in 2010. A defender, Colago hails from Anoka, Minnesota. He is a graduate of Anoka High School. Earlier this month, Colago was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America third team. Calvin College senior Miles Colago has added one more prestigious award to his long list of honors. This morning, Colago was named a third team Division III All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. A defender, Colago hails from Anoka, Minnesota. He is a graduate of Anoka High School. Colago is the sixth individual in Calvin men’s soccer history to receive All-America honors. Other individuals in Calvin men’s soccer history to receive the honor include Casey TeHaar (1962), Doug DeSmit (1983), Joey Barone (1991), Kurt Visker (2004 & 2005) and Dan Kmetz (2009).
