ALLENDALE – The Calvin men’s and women’s track and field teams opened their indoor campaigns on Friday night at the Grand Valley State Eubanks Invitational.
A highlight of the meet for Calvin was the performance of senior Lauren Bergstrom (Rochester, MN) who won the mile run with an NCAA III (indoor) conditional qualifying time of 4:55.01, just missing an automatic qualifying time.

Katie Corner Advances to Discus Finals at U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials

Katie Corner, a 2004 Calvin College graduate, has advanced to the discus finals at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials currently being held at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
