ALLENDALE – The Calvin men’s and women’s track and field teams opened their indoor campaigns on Friday night at the Grand Valley State Eubanks Invitational.
A highlight of the meet for Calvin was the performance of senior Lauren Bergstrom (Rochester, MN) who won the mile run with an NCAA III (indoor) conditional qualifying time of 4:55.01, just missing an automatic qualifying time.

Calvin picked up one All-America berth and advanced two individuals into Saturday’s finals on the second day of competition at the NCAA III Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
