What has been your most memorable experience on Calvin's track team?
"My most memorable moment on Calvin's track team was winning the conference in 2004. I was the underdog and Albion was set on sweeping the discus throw, I threw my personal best on my second throw by 5 feet and shocked all the Albion throwers. Then the rest of the men's team competed well throughout the day to win the MIAA Championships, shutting down Albion's hope for a MIAA field day Championship."
Why did you decide to attend Calvin College?
"I decided to attend Calvin because it was the most academically challenging, private Christian school that I could find. The professors are really challenging, but they know each student by name and care about each one's success. Also, attending Calvin allowed me to live away from home, live in an entirely different part of the country, meet new people, and experience things that I would have never had the chance to do had I gone to school anywhere else."
