Men’s Golf Finishes Seventh at Muskingum Invitational
NEW CONCORD, OH—The Calvin men’s golf team placed seventh at the two-day Muskingum College Invitational this past weekend, recording a 36-hole team score of 616 strokes.
Mount Union won the invitational with 570 strokes while host Muskingum was second (597).
Men’s Golf Fifth in Final MIAA Standings
KALAMAZOO—The Calvin men’s golf team took sixth at the final MIAA outing of the year but finished fifth in the final MIAA overall standings. Calvin posted a sixth place team score of 329 strokes at Thursday’s outing hosted by Kalamazoo at the Milham Golf Club. Calvin maintained its fifth place position in the final overall standings however, finishing with 2,513 strokes, 23 strokes ahead of sixth place Adrian and 48 strokes behind fourth place Albion.
Men’s Golf Ties for Fourth at MIAA Outing at Watermark Country Club
CASCADE—The Calvin men’s golf team had one of its top performances of the year on Monday, firing a team score of 312 strokes to finish in a tie for fourth place at an MIAA outing. Calvin served as host of Monday’s tournament which was held at the Watermark Country Club. Calvin tied for fourth with Trine University. Olivet took first place on Monday with 307 strokes to widen its overall lead in the MIAA standings. Albion was a close second on Monday at 308 with Hope third at 311.
