Lifeguards are governed by the program department. Their main responsibility is the pool, but they also watch over the canoes at the resevoir. Since they are a part of programs they also have to watch over the put put, bike rental and kiva. (see recreational supervisor)

Pool shifts are only 4 hours long anytime in between 6:00 and 10:00.
