Applicant Information
Who May Apply
Applicants should be full-time parish pastors who are engaged regularly in the preaching of God's Word to a congregation.
How to Apply
To apply, an applicant must submit the application form. In addition to general applicant information, the application form will require:
- Curriculum vitae or resume
- A 1-2 page essay describing what attracts you to this seminar and what you hope to take away from it
- Name and contact information for two (2) references
You will receive an email confirmation within 10 days of submitting your complete application. If you do not hear from us, please call us to determine whether your complete application has been received.
The application deadline is January 15, 2010. Participants will be selected after the application deadline. Incomplete and/or late applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of their status by March 1, 2010.
Seminar Details
Out of town participants will receive some financial travel support and lodging on Calvin's campus. Breakfast and lunch during the workshop are provided for all participants. Meals for family members can be arranged for a modest additional cost.
Facilities and Services
Lodging for out of town participants will be in hotel rooms at the Prince Conference Center at Calvin College. Families are welcome; please contact the SCS office for further details. Participants have access to all college facilities, including the college library (the most extensive research collection in West Michigan), sports facilities, and computer labs. The Seminars staff will make all logistical arrangements for participants.
