Workshop Description:
The week long disciplinary workshop for CCCU foreign language faculty deals with the spiritual and moral dimensions of foreign language education in a Christian college setting. The presenters of the workshop will focus on issues in language pedagogy and in interpreting and teaching literature, film, and culture. In each area the focus will be on how teaching and learning relate to the student's spiritual and moral development.

Program Description:
The purpose of the CCCU Disciplinary workshops is to prepare faculty members teaching in selected disciplines at CCCU institutions to develop Christian perspectives on substantive issues in their respective disciplines and to deal with pedagogical issues related to the teaching of their disciplines.

The deadline for applications is February 1, 2003.
