Publications & Presentations
Have you published or presented anything as a result of one of our Summer Seminars? Tell us about it.
Jason McMartin has published an article in The Journal of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care entitled "Sleep, Sloth, and Sanctification". Please join us in congratulating him!
We congratulate Patrick Clark who has recently published an article which he wrote during his time here as a Communitas scholar. The title is The Case for an Exemplarist Approach to Virtue in Catholic Moral Theology and it was published in the Journal of Moral Theology.
Please join us in congratulating John Pinheiro from Aquinas College as he celebrates the release of his book Missionaries of Republicanism: A Religious History of the Mexican-American War in April 2014. This book was a result of a 2010 summer seminar here at Calvin, led by Harry Stout.
Communitas Visiting Scholars Program
In past years, Seminars at Calvin has hosted visiting scholars through our Communitas visiting scholars program. Beginning summer 2015, this program will no longer be run by our office. If you are interested in conducting summer research at Calvin or an extended stay on campus for other academic purposes, please consider Calvin's Visiting Scholar Program. Find out more about that program here.
