Schedule: 12:30 - 1:15 p.m. - Family Weekend Sectional - "Facebook 101: What Happens Online, Stays Online. Or Does It. . ." Rick Zomer, Associate Dean of Residence Life; and Kyle Sandison, Calvin senior, will discuss the Facebook.com phenomenon at Calvin. This session will take place in the Spoelhof Center Room 202. 1:15 - 2 p.m. - Family Weekend Sectional - "Learn About Calvin's New Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex" This is a presentation and walking tour led by Professor Glen Van Andel (HPERDS), who was a member of the team that planned and designed the new athletic complex. This session will start in North Hall Room 078. 3 - 3:45 p.m. - Family Weekend Sectional - "For Parents Only, Part 2" Dr. Randy Wolthuis, Director of the Broene Counseling Center, will continue the conversation from his popular session for parents held during PASSPORT orientation. This session will take place in the Fine Arts Center 222. 8 p.m. - Fall Music Festival - The 62nd annual Fall Music Festival will showcase the musical talents of over 400 students performing in a wide array of solos, choirs, and ensembles in this engaging, fast-paced concert that is sure to delight guests of every age. Tickets are required. 9 p.m. - Improv Comedy Show - This show will take place in the Lab Theater in the Spoelhof Center. This event is sold out. Saturday 4:45 p.m. - Progressive Dinner - We'll start the dinner with an hors d'eouvres course in the lobby of the engineering facility. Be sure to check out the posters detailing student projects. 5:30 p.m. - Salad Course - Stop by Johnny's Coffee Shop to enjoy a delicious salad 6:30 p.m. - Class Photo - Head across Calvin's Crossing to the DeVos Communication Center. There we'll gather in the Forum to have the class photo taken. Every class member attending the reunion will have a print sent to their home after the reunion. 7 p.m. - Main Course - You won't want to miss this component to your meal, served in the Great Hall of the Prince Center. The executive chef at the Prince delights in creating a memorable meal. Entertainment for the evening will start with a special presentation by classmante Dr. Don De Graaf (HPERDS), who will show us a slide presentation highlighting the wonderful programs in physical education at Calvin. Executive Director of the Alumni Association, Mike Van Denend, will share news from the college, and we'll be treated to a concert by Glenn Bulthuis. A dessert buffet will top off the evening.
