John Voss '49 has published Desert Flower, a book based on his nine years as a physician in Saudi Arabia for the Raytheon Company. John now works part time at Cherry Street Health Services, a community health center in Grand Rapids.

James F. Bosma '37 of West Baltimore, Md., on 6/22/01. Jim pioneered research in the anatomy and physiology of swallowing in adults, children and infants. At the time of his death he was working on a book about feeding difficulties in infants who have medical problems preventing swallowing and feeding.
