Ted Masselink '81 is a professor of physics at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.
Daniel Lieuwen '87 was promoted to Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies.
Jung Suck Rhee MDiv'84 ThM'89 has been named associate director and theological mentor of the Korean Doctor of Ministry program at Fuller Theological Seminary in California. Rhee also serves as associate professor Korean ecclesiology and systematic theology, which he also has taught in South Korea.
Marsha Masselink Lange '83 is a physician in a family practice in Mayville, N.D.
Tim Luimes '89 co-led a team of eight teens on Youth Unlimited's Project Bridge to the Ukraine, spending one week helping a local Reformed church with an overnight camp experience for 20 street kids and Vacation Bible School. Through stories and a puppet show interpreted by local leaders, the Gospel message reached more than 150 children. Tim now works part time as a youth pastor in St. Thomas, Ont., and as a math teacher at London District Christian Secondary School. He also serves as a board member for Youth Unlimited.
Tara deVries Cahill '85 and Rob Cahill '90 have begun a three-year stint in Guatemala with the Mennonite Central Committee for worldwide development and relief. The couple will be coordinators at the MCC Education Center there. Rob was most recently pastor of Cedar Grove Mennonite Church in Greencastle, Pa.
Four alumna continued their Calvin-borne friendship last August by celebrating 17 years since their 1984 graduation. Mar Verrips Vanden Berg, Diane Oosterhof Vande Meent, Gert Van Der Groef Sweeney and Sharon Meyers Buisman met in New York state, a middle point from all their homes.
